Lets pick up from where I left off in the welcome to my blog post. I was recently telling you how I upgrade my camera I was using the Canon 600D (I think that is the model) In America it is called the Canon Rebel T3i and whilst it was a good camera I found that I wasn't taking it out as it is a really bulky camera and I just wanted one that is less bulky and more travel friendly.

When I went to Portugal last summer I was taking photos on my IPhone 6S and while the quality is pretty amazing for a phone and I got some amazing photos check out my blog andrealovestotravel.blogspot.co.uk if you want to see all the photos I took on my travels.

As I love nothing more but taking portraits of the family I wanted to get a good camera I could take on my travels and put in my handbag without it weighing me down and you can do that with the Olympus Pen it's so compact and if you get the extra micro four thirds lens with it you will not be disappointed it's an amazing camera it gives you that really nice blurry background which is perfect in portrait photography. I will show you some photographs I have took so you can see what I mean

Hi ,

Let me start by telling you a bit about myself photography has been one of my passions for many years and over the years I have updated my cameras as my skills have improved.

I have been running a blog called Beauty With Andrea for nearly 2 years and I love it and even though I could probably just add a page called photography to that blog I didn't want to do that this is where A.K Photography  comes in. I can be found on all social media with the same name .

I love to take family portraits any opportunity I get I am there with my camera I have recently got the Olympus Pen EPL-8 and oh my gosh what a fantastic camera that is . If you are thinking of getting this camera I highly recommend it. I have had it a month and so far I have no complaints. I bought the extra lens the micro four thirds lens which gives that incredible depth of field and gives you a nice blurry background which comes in handy for taking portraits which is what I have been specialising in .

Even the photos that I have taken with the kit lens are so clear much clear then what I was using before this camera is expensive with the extra lens and the insurance but well worth it if your after upgrading to a newer model.
